Matthew Buckley, Sales Associate

Matt Buckley is a life-long Montana resident and a graduate of Carroll College in Helena, Montana where he competed in football, boxing and rodeo: he studied English and economics. After graduation, Matt taught school and coached on Montana's hi-line in the towns of Shelby and Choteau, Montana. He spent his summers traveling the Bob Marshall Wilderness as a packer and wilderness ranger for the U.S. Forest service.  He hauled supplies to trail crews and fire lookouts and dodged grizzly bears while spending nights sleeping on the ground around a campfire.

In 1987 Matt returned to southwest Montana where he continued his teaching career and operated a horseback guiding business at Fairmont Hot springs for twenty years. Matt made many friends and helped people realize dreams as he guided them thru the mountains of southwest Montana and elk hunting or sightseeing adventures.

Matt obtained his real estate license in 2002 and has successfully helped to  facilitate transactions in land and home sales since that time. Matt combines his love of Montana, a strong work ethic, a genuine ability to relate and help people with a great desire to learn the business.
